Lights are a bit dim for maximum shadow manipulation.
The class is bigger than it looks // shot
The shelves are full of books. Obscrum class contains some of the most darkest of books ( meaning killing spells, journals, medieval history and instructions ) but most of them were written in either Latin, Hebrew, Draconican or Enochian - Enochian being the language of angels and demons, meaning the spells are thrice as strong than Latin ones. It's either the headmaster or the teachers who know how to read Enochian. 
The door to the class is literally through the Iron Maiden statue. Unwanted 'guests' would see the statue being bound with chains, but the students and inhabitants of the school will see no chains, caused by one of the Obscrum teacher's mind bending spells ( The blood is still there, though ). If you're not brave enough to open the statue's door, you have no business going into the class.
There would be an odd chanting, whispering or even scratching though when one enters the room with the Iron Maiden. They were basically the shadows, quoting odd poetry regarding the angels, death or just basically eschatology. Once you enter the REAL classroom though, the chanting would stop. 
The class is connected to the Iron Maiden statue.
ANY book with the Sigil of The Baphomet plastered on it is considered dangerous and not to be touched AT ALL COSTS, mostly the Enochian ones.
Most of the time you will hear this music blaring - www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhqScX… - one of the teacher's odd taste in entertainment. Good luck on finding where to turn it off though because spirits LOVE to haunt the place especially with that music -
