For a demon ( and in fact most demons of his social circle ), Alexis is pretty much lax and uninterested of violence or gore. In fact, he preferred to cheer people up and get to know people around him better. He finds humans interesting - but will not go to the extent of hurting them unless needed. Despite this, however, due to circumstances he has developed a rather unforgiving personality once someone backstabs / harmed / breaks his trust in general. He is over-analytical - he considers every single circumstance or outcome before picking the suitable solution. He also likes to keep time in check - says it makes him feel more organized. He has a small notebook stashed in his vest / jacket pocket all the time filled with numbers and calculations - as well as plans and few other reminders. Despite his analytic attitude, he is more often than not messy - whenever he doesn't feel like it, he'll merely leave his items lying around, only to accidentally step on them and sometimes ruin his day. He's also gentle at heart - he doesn't like seeing people upset or in trouble unless they really do deserve it. Very energetic - you'll see him whizz around a lot and will only stop once it's his bedtime... Whenever THAT time comes, at least. 

Like any other normal person, Alexis started his life pretty normal. He has no interest over making bonds or pacts with humans, so instead of doing so he indulged his life into learning the vaudeville acts, and started performing at the streets when he was 29, and joined a crew of street performers travelling all around the world, entertaining humans and supernatural beings alike. Those of the supernatural ones - however, are careful to not expose themselves to the humans, and things went breezily from there. In Germany, during one of his performances, he set eyes on a female Authendaemon - one that was known as Diana Achterberg. Once the show was over he took the liberty of getting to know her, and soon their friendship grew into love. They soon got married, and Alexis decided to leave the performing team ( not without much tears, mind you ) and stayed in Germany together with Diana.

News reached Alexis's ears through his old friends that a group of humans in association with a few shady magical beings are seeking humans and beings like them alike for twisted experiments in order to create the perfect 'super soldier' after WWI in case another war breaks, and Alexis immediately set up precautions for himself and his wife, especially since Diana was expecting with a baby and couldn't exactly use much of her disguising powers in fear of harming the baby inside her. He kept track of everything - from the suspected raiders, making an underground hideout, as well as the exact time the raids will happen for the coming days, and that way he was able to keep his family safe until Diana was pregnant with their child, Alexei, for 6 months. It was all well and good, until one day a miscalculation - or just general backstabbing, occurred. The person he thought he could trust - Faust Sr - ratted his location out, and turns out that the head Reaper himself is part of the group, wanting to create his own soldiers in order to destroy the whole Authendaemon population. Alexis wasn't able to put up much of a fight due to the Alpha Reaper overpowering him in every aspect - and they were dragged by the group to their facility center for experimentation. Diana was placed to vivisection in front of Alexis's very eyes, and was even more horrified to see that their child was being used as their experiment subject for the super soldier program. She soon died giving birth to Alexei, and the baby was hidden away from Alexis's eyes as he himself was used as a test subject for various experiments. 

It was after a long while of torture that he finally caught news that a few refugees had escaped the facility, bringing along a baby with them - no doubt Alexei as he was the only newborn in the facility. Alexis was happy despite his own condition - it meant that he still had a chance on reuniting with him. He utilized the chance to escape while the soldiers and researchers were all frantic in order to recapture the refugees, and used Altechrono to make the lab disappear - or more precisely reverse back time to when the lab didn't exist yet in those areas, erasing all the equipment and records, much to his pleasure and glee. He ran far away from the area, hiding himself in the forests in order to recover from his injuries and his emotional scars.


Faust Senior must die, and I'll make sure that happens one day.


Once he was much better, he finally moved back into human civilization, this time disguising himself as a proper human and doing odd jobs to support himself, as well as continuing his life as a vaudevillian in theaters and in groups. Soon ( years actually ), he got himself a job as a general odd-jobs-guy at a bar for supernatural beings named Candle Cove, owned by a young minotaur by the name Rizal Rynberg. Alexis worked there for years until a certain Reaper accidentally burned the whole place down in a drunken fit, causing Rizal to go into a meltdown and Alexis nowhere to go. Rizal DID - however, heard that the old carnival he served for once is reopening, and suggested to Alexis that he joined the carnies since he had the feeling that Alexis would be a better addition to the group than he ever will. Feeling like he'll finally be able to entertain more people, he decided to join the carnival, and at the same time track Faust Sr down.
